Love is the Key

Vintage Pics are great to use with these glass charms.  Chose a verse from I John 4:19 "We love because He first loved us".  How can one love unless they have this special love. Not human love, but love from above.  When you know you are valued, loved and accepted, then comes the security we crave. Then and only then can we love others and God.

Words are Valuable

Words are seeds. They can make or break a person. As an adult, you
probably can look back on your like and remember the exact time and place something that was said to you that affected you majorly, whether negative or positive.  Mostly we remember the negative. These kind are so very destructive, deeply to the core of one's being. The is world is so filled right now with accusations, criticisms, pointing of the finger, anger....should I go on?

And whether you believe the bible or not, Proverbs 18:21 says "Death and Life are in the power of the tongue".

What we need is more
life. More words, thoughts, actions of life.

Soldered Treasures

Welcome to this Blog. Some of these charms are glass only. Some are soldered. But all are handmade and meant to strengthen, or stir you in some positive way.  Just depends on the creative mood I'm in, as to which way they will go.  There's been times when I've cut out pages out of bible, even some that are Italian, French or even Hebrew.  I asked my son, do you think this is sacreligious?  No Ma. Not if your displaying it for the purpose of honoring it.  Good answer, and tis true, I am honoring it.
I will use, vintage letters, photos, postage stamps, material, and the list goes on and on. Very theraputic for me and also an encouragement for you.  So keep checking back and I will be posting some new stuff as the days go by.

Learning to solder these babies can be a trick.  Take a stained glass class is my advice.  And don't give up. One little tip or actually a big one in my eyes, is as your applying the solder, let gravity be your friend. When the solder is heated, remember it turns to liquid. So hold it still as it will dry quickly. Then go on to the next side.    DON'T GIVE UP!!
